Completely agree. I don’t think it should even be taken as strange to be thinking of Dango as an option there now, either. It’s one of the most trodden paths in football, transitioning from winger to fullback. Fairly sure both Smith and Daniels did so, and you can make a solid argument that they’re our best ever fullbacks. He tracks back and tackles well from that position while remaining a decent crossing threat from deep.
 
How about this for a consipracy theory….Hughes hasn’t extended a decent contract to Kelly as he wants to take him to Liverpool. What a nice signing that would be to start his tenure. :D
 
I spoke to him after the Newcastle match before he got on the coach, convinced he had a limp then, when I asked him about picking up an injury he made an excuse about being cold!

Have a good view of the injured players at home games and lloyd was on his feet as we attacked at the end whereas some of the other players remain seated. Suggests a man up for the fight - as he has been most of his life judging by his past interviews.

He has the potential to, but ability isn’t always everything. This kind of thing shows a flaw in his character for me. He’s only young, but certainly not showing the maturity of Zabarnyi.

I can see it in Zabs, I can’t see it in Milos. Defensively he is so suspect against top level clubs. Great going forwards for sure. There’s threads of people on here wanting us to play a rookie winger there instead of him….

Depending on the system, his defensive qualities may be secondary to his attacking ones. Look at Alexander-Arnold, can't defend for toffee, excellent going forward. And no, I'm not saying Kerkez is in the same bracket, just an example.

Saw him training earlier doing 1:1 fitness tests and drills with the coaching team. Might be in the squad Weds if that goes well I'd guess.
