An underrated player was Gozzo in my opinion. From memory, he seemed to be kind of pushed out during the 2021 Championship January window (maybe because of his wages, not sure) and in came Wilshere who was a shadow of his former self. Gozzo went on to help Watford get promoted and scored a couple of importsnt goals for them I think. He wasn't favoured much in the PL there, but when half of Watford's team had checked out, Gozzo came back in and played like he cared unlike half the Watford squad. He scored some good goals for us too and would have been happy to see his career out with us so he said. But, I guess as we were in the Championship, he was considered too expensive for what he offered at the time. It's a shame he lost his head a bit when he played against us for Watford. That was a bad-tempered match, and I guess he was just trying to get stuck into things with his new club and maybe still feeling hurt that he'd been encouraged to move on. Think he let himself down a bit that afternoon as he'd always put in good shifts for us. All in all, I thought he was a decent and hardworking team player for us.
