Everton docked 2 more points

Can't see them appealing as their losses were that high they probably should have been docked another couple of points. Maybe that's why it is only two?

How can Everton have lost so much money? They bought players and had to write them off as losses as they had no resale value.

Then they hire a manager who is only ever going to have them play in survival mode.

Sacking Frank Lampard cost them £7,000,000

Basically it seems they pleaded for less of a punishment as they had already been punished!

And this was over 2 years not 3.

Surely the issue here is these appeals are going to drag on into the summer, halting preparation for next season if teams don’t know which league they’ll be in, assuming 18th place is going to stay tight.

Apparently they have to be heard before the season is out but who knows .

It's actually the lowest points deduction ever awarded. At this rate they'll negotiate it down to a goal different penalty.

Some of the Everton charge won't be heard until next season now, with the potential for more points to come off.

Wouldn't be surprised if their legal maneuvers save them from relegation two seasons running.

Yet another place where you can see the different standards of treatment for perceived big clubs. Their fans are moaning about Man City (which is a fair point) but they've actually been really fortunate with their deductions.

Everton has to play both Luton and Forest, so still in their hands.
Brentford and Sheff U.

They all say it's unfair because Man City haven't been punished but I believe they have a very set of charges and are defending themselves against all of them as is their right.

Of course it's taken a long time but maybe City will be strongly penalised.

Trouble is UEFA tried to do that and look what happened.

Lawyers won the day.

Convenient. Restores their original six point deduction which was subsequently reduced to four on appeal.
This stinks to high heaven but was so predictable !
Crock of sh*t.

If the FFP system remains unchanged, based on this, clubs should just ignore it and take the points deduction on the chin.
