Aston Villa v AFC Bournemouth - Sunday 3 pm

I think we're a much worse side when Christie isn't on it and he surely wasn't today. Neto again does not inspire confidence. Outtara may have potential, I don't know, but he's not the finished article yet and that probably applies to the team as a whole but if we keep AI for next season I think we'll be a side to be reckoned with.

After a loss and below par 2nd half, the usual suspects are revelling in it, and agendas out again.
Yes we need an upgrade on Neto, but Smith & Christie have been fantastic all season.

Haven't read the thread to see the criticism but we looked much worse when Aarons came on for Smith. Aarons didn't get forward at all. Maybe a tactical instruction but I thought that was one of the big differences between the two halves.

It was a tough match for Smith, but I thought he was holding up well and assumed the sub was because of the yellow card.

Guess who said these?

Morgan Rogers. If he can play for Man City then I am regretting not booking myself a trial.

Wing backs never work for us particularly when one is Morgan Rogers who I’ve yet to see do anything that suggests he would be worth keeping.

We’ve added numbers but not necessarily quality. Marcondes hardly plays, I would send Rogers back
Yes he clearly wasn’t ready for us when we signed him so not the right recruit at that time. Clearly though we knew his potential and have kept tabs on him since. People say there aren’t good players around for less than 20m. He was miles better than our 20m plus forwards for 40.% of the cost. An embarrassing indictment of our recruitment team

Just f*** off. Nobody gives a toss what you say or wants your input on this forum.
Yes but I was right. You don't win football matches with several players half fit and other key players absent. You just can't accept it can you.

I suppose you will also not accept the foregone conclusion that we will more than likely lose at Wolves also because of the same readon and with the additional problem of fatigue creeping in.

Then two days after the Wolves game we have to face Brighton where we will be completelh knackered.

Please try to live in the real world.

So you know we didn't try and resign him? Before villa signed I didn't here any clamoring to sign him. But oh surprise surprise it's our recruitment teams fault.
I can imagine your reaction if we had of signed him, given your previous comments.

You predict that we’re going to lose every week, so by the law of averages, you’ll be right occasionally.

Well done on learning how to spell fatigue.

Are you coming to Dean Court for the Brighton game on Friday?

Well what can I say. Beaten by the better side in the second half. We were probably equal to them first half, didn't turn our small margins in to big or winning moments : )

Some pluses, mainly non football. Glorious spring early evening as the Riverside Rockets trundle along the Motorway home. This country can be something to behold, when the weather's right : )

We had at least 10 wheelchairs there. Good stewarding, including telling a camera man to sit down in front of us (I believe a club representative informed the stewards, thank you)
: )

Excellent pre match burgery : )

Saw a few of the faithful from this parish, Audenshaw is treating his Good Lady to a tour of Birmingham. No matter how many I saw, Rob Trent had them queueing up to speak to him : )

We're nearly good and nearly bad as a team, as the season's progressed we are closer to good a lot more than bad. Villa are a very good side and should be playing Champions League next season on merit. We've come a long way through the season but we've still got a way to go : )

We looked out of it the second half. God help us Wednesday night! Now doubt GON was at the game plotting our downfall.
You're predicting another defeat?....lol.....your like a punter who thinks he can get rich from backing every favourite....they just end up living out of bins.
A moron with absolutely no football knowledge could predict us to lose every week and they'd be right now and again but they would still be a Moron Minty......what do you get out of it?

So just to be clear. You believe that we will get something at Wolves with a tired and depleted side three days after getting turned over at Villa Park. I can only politely infer that you must be on the wacci bacci.

I think he thought kluivert was offside so couldn’t play a pass. He may have been right. Although just attempting the pass would have meant villa don’t score. Frustrating. But we were second best thereafter.
Absolutely the pivotal moment in the game. We could have gone in at half time 2-0 up instead of 1-1. You may well be right that the reason Christie didn't pass it to Kluivert was that he may have thought he was offside. Haven't checked so maybe he was?

Just to be clear I'm saying only a moron would predict the same result for every game....not very realistic is it....would you disagree?
