Football can have you on a high one minute and then on a low the next.

Thought the Coventry City player was just offside before the ball entered the net right at the end of extra time.

But what a great comeback by the Championship side and their supporters will remember that day for years to come.
 
When the disallowed goal went in, before it was disallowed, Man Utd fans left the stadium. Absolute disrespectful scum. At least have the dignity and decency to appreciate and applaud the efforts of a championship team for their part in a really entertaining cup semi final at the National Stadium regardless of the result. Stinks of entitlement and they deserve to see their team win fcuk all.
 
Ended up shouting at the radio. They actually said they were glad Man U won so it would be a proper final. That was Radio 5 !

Says it all.

VAR is there to cover for when refs forget to favour the big 6. Two bites at the cherry so to speak.

Wow, they said that? And yet I have no surprise. I assume it was Sutton and/or Savage?

It wont be a better final either because Man Utd are so poor atm.

I’d fancy Coventry would give City a better game at the moment.

Media are just relieved for their ratings, and that they won’t have to try to cover all day of the coverage the fact they’d know naff all about the Championship squad competing.

I’d be livid with that offside call if I was a Coventry fan. I know any body part (except hands and arms?) can be offside but this one just looked like it was because he had bigger boots than the defender. There was no advantage in his positioning, no threat. I’d like to see some common sense and fairness here rather than slide-rule football. Man U extremely lucky and hope they get pummelled in the final.

Based on the league games in recent times Man City still ought to be winning easily.

And unlike last year they won't have a Champions league final to think about either.
 
Notable that there wasn't the usual pile on when the final penalty went in. A few started to run, most didn't.

Maguire went straight to the Coventry team and shook their hands. Rightly embarrassed/ humble and acknowledging the opposition.
