Training ground

Went over there on Wednesday afternoon, parked in the far car park nearest to the training ground and had a look what was going on.

Today in the Echo.

That dont look like much of a 'training ground' to me....an arc-shaped building for accomodation or offices.
Tbh the beaches along Bournemouth and Boscombe look more the part...
Seems to me a lot of Money being spent on something we don't know will improve results....and a larger Stadium was where the Money should have been apportioned first !

I still see this as a Country Club for corporate members in its primary concept .

The training ground complex is where the players spend the majority of their time. Sports science has come a long way since sending them out for a kick about on the cricket pitch in kings park and a run along the beach.

The new training ground is also the key to unlocking kings park for the new stadium. One has to come before the other.

Very patiently put but I must insist you use words of one syllable or you are wasting your time.

We will see where it all ends up...what it all evolves into...

Btw ...Lorient are 2nd bottom in the French League !

Sports Science ?....Christ Almighty can we just have our Football back ?

Kings Park is 'unlocked'...just needs a lorry load of bricks , some corrugated steel and various plastics plus some expedited action around a Stadium blueprint...

You really must try harder to wind us up, your last couple of posts really aren't worth the effort.

You are right. Lets all turn up at Kings Park Sunday, early start.

Rob Trent can level the ground.

Table definitely has his own Hi Vis.

R&R can provide site security.

Neil can act as AFCB CEO liaison officer.

We'll leave the digging, concrete pouring, brick laying (gotta have bricks on the ground), Steel Work, glazing, electrical, plumbing, pitch laying, decorating to you. Jobs a Goodun'.

Ha hah yep...we are on this...
...I forgot to ask earlier ..what has 'sports science' given us....the ability for players like Havertz to create penalties out of Ballet ?

I'll give it a better go over the Summer months.....if the thread subjects warrant it....and hang on a bit...you've responded to the last couple of my posts by posting the above !
....and they were not even among my best efforts !

The vibe around the BH area is a very positive one.

The negative ones seem drawn onto this site, strangely.

Thank you. I’m not sure any of my art is footbally enough but if they want to buy some…

;-)

You could do some of the iconic Cherries photos re-imagined but instead of Fletch's head verus Grimsby or Ted's head against Villa, you could paint Bill Foley's face on them. Phil Bill and Keifer = Jim and Bill : )

I’ll await the commission!

Eddie always said ....players spend 90% of their time at the club involved in training activities.....so he wanted a training complex before a new ground...but then what does he know ?......Brian knows far more.
But...he got his new ground eventually....St James Park .
I know that !

“Construction of the Cherries’ new state-of-the-art training facility is expected to be completed within the next eight months and will uplift the club's facilities to be on par or better than the facilities of top clubs in the Premier League.
