    Everton Tickets

I don’t think the club are taking the extra allocation for the top tier…EFC have just announced that tickets for this section are now on sale to home fans.

non - anyone got an AFCB tie I can borrow?

I like your approach - it reminds me of my Dad wearing a CAMRA tie to a law meeting with Whitbread back in the '70s. Words were exchanged.

    Joshua King

Apparently Josh was at Bramall Lane yesterday. Not the United he was hoping for.

    The wee turd.

The Sun ( I know, sorry) reporting that West Ham want to re- unite Wilson £18m) and Fraser ( matching Palace's supposed 50k a week). Also, more surprisingly...Leeds to try and get Lewis Cook back with a £15m bid.

    Griffin Park

Of course we are all missing football, but I feel for all the Brentford fans who will be denied saying farewell to Griffin Park today. One of my favourite grounds to visit. Another one bites the dust.

    Our Finishing

I played for Mudeford Youth for a few seasons. Remember a few good matches with Strouden in particular. Mark Redknap used to play the odd game and Harry once borrowed the AFCB minibus to take us to a game. Jamie used to train with us at Barrack Road or Stanpit Marsh, and was unplayable even as a...

Non -General Election - who will you vote for

That would be a good outcome. Equivalent to a last minute equaliser away from home. Not as good as a win but satisfying nonetheless.

    Bob Willis RIP

I think I was at that game punkrockcherry! I met him in the pavilion just after the game and he was pretty hammered even then...he could only just sign my autograph book. Legendary player...RIP.

    Everton, Arsenal, West Ham...

Pellegrini probably saved his job today. Relax everyone.

    Everton, Arsenal, West Ham...

Pellegrini still in post but the West Ham forum is full of rumours about "sources" understanding that EH and JC met the West Ham Board yesterday. https://www.kumb.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=176370&start=660 It's not a bad read that thread - particularly interesting about the net spend and...

Honey who shrunk the mars bar

Ah, the days of poor quality control. Our school used to have KitKat vending machines and a surprising number of the bars would have some solid fingers, but I don't remember a whole 4 fingers being solid choc. This would have been early 1980s. I miss the Texan bar, I wish that would make a comeback.

    Diego Rico

I agree, and when Brooks returns he offers more defensively on the right if he plays wide.

    Villa pubs

Bartons Arms is great. No plastic pint pots there.

Have we had our best summer of business yet?

Really pleased with the players in, and we got great value for Mings and Mousset. If we had got Heaton in for a year in goal that would have been the icing on the cake ( I think Villa did well there, probably gives them 6 to 9 points). Overall it does feel like a changing of the guard...which...

The Leeds sides of the early 1970's fielded 11 Tossers.

    Non - Tour de France

Forecast for the Alps is that it will be baking hot, could have a huge impact. Pinot hasn't gone well at 30+ degrees before. This has been the best Tour for years!

    The British Manager's Club

The latest instalment of this feature on Bob Mortimer's Athletico Mince podcast features Eddie Howe quite heavily: very funny.
