    Ellis Simms

Remember Sinclair Armstrong, the big QPR forward, who scored against us? A few on here said we should go for him. 38 appearances. 3 goals this year. Signing goal scoring forwards is the toughest job. It's a shame that the pressure of staying in the EPL is so great you don't seem to be able to...

    Premier League 23/24

Florists in the relegation mix. Would be the one team that probably can't afford to go down. Oh dear.

AFC Bournemouth v Brighton - Sunday 2 pm

The seaweed's big European season and 'elite' manager catching up with them. Commentators were crowing about the young player conveyorbelt they had. Well, pretty passing needs an end product. The bench had a lot of experience, maybe they don't need the £2,000,000 per place in the EPL. Very...

    Championship 23/24

Leeds fans on Twitter complaining about having the most expensive squad in the Championship and not having a manager with the ability to get the best out of them. I'm glad we've never had boring people like that on this forum.

Will GoN show some class and say, "Fair play, the lad has elbowed him and we are lucky it was only a yellow. Good spot by VAR." Before offering a 45 minute discussion on his game plan.

    Pre-Season - US Tour

As I discovered halfway through The Star Spangled Banner when at a rodeo in the middle of Michigan... (Just after the prayer for the horses, and the prayer to get rid of Obama)

    Man Utd

The FA have to market the game globally and a The Glazer Bank vs Sovereign Wealth fund FC* brings in a bigger audience and money. Unfortunately.

    FA Cup replays scrapped

The Athletic are reporting that the FA agreed to this for the exclusive 'weekends' they would get, the EPL like it for less games. Allegedly £33 million for grassroots football. Any Football League team that has ever put out a weakened team does lose some of their argument that the competition...

    FA Cup replays scrapped

It means that both teams have to look to win it, although I could imagine smaller teams playing negatively for penalties. We won't have such a fixture backlog next year, what with European games. Last thing we want is a replay to Kidderminster just before a match against FC Solvang CobbleCloggers.
