This is my abiding memory of the day too. That moment will live with me forever and still brings a tear to my eye.

    Club emails

Probably not what the marketing team were hoping for but I just delete them without even opening them now. I'm not particularly bothered by them but in my subconscious I think I see them as junk now (saturated my interest!) and just delete like any other junk that arrives in the inbox.

    Parker, tactics and the board

If you want to go really old school, I remember playing 'play by mail' football manager games! Now that really was slow paced! Posting off your team selection for that week's fixtures, then awaiting the results to come later that week in the post! Fun times!

    Barnsley v AFC Bournemouth

Luton v Blackburn stats suggest a fairly even game. They don’t get much more even than that!

    Jordon Ibe

Apparently Ibe is suing AFCB over unpaid image rights! What a cheek! https://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/sport/football/jordon-ibe-liverpool-afc-bournemouth-22686918?fbclid=IwAR1SufSQAaSQ0Y6GMHoZHt9OLyc7QqyJl-VX7mQcQ0P0m8XbFJF-GL-Wq1g

    Back of shirt sponsor...

I don’t like the idea of gambling companies as our sponsor either - doesn’t sit well with me but understand why the club went with them if they offered the most money. I won’t be buying one on principle. Same as I didn’t buy a Mansion shirt either. Hoping they won’t include the sponsor on the...

    Eddie to Celtic?

I don’t necessarily think someone else can’t bring us ‘success’ (however you define that), but I do agree - Eddie Howe is to us what Fergie was to Man Utd.

    £5,653,160

Interestingly, Kevin De Bryune has just negotiated himself a new contract and pay rise without the use of an agent (did use a lawyer though) and even collected data to show the value he adds to the Man City squad...

    Thierry Henry

Absolutely! 12 years ago tomorrow (20th Feb) we were losing 1-0 away at Chesterfield. It was the only trip I’ve made to Chesterfield. It still boggles my mind the journey we’ve been on over the last decade or so.

The joy of seeing a football stadium for the first time

My first ever live football match was at the old Dean Court to see England U19s v Egypt (early 90s?). I still remember the feeling walking up the steps in the main stand as seeing the pitch under lights - very special.

    afcbTV Live

Paid for it on my phone. Logged in on laptop to watch on bigger screen but gave no option to watch the game. Logged in on phone and option to watch live was there instantly and easily found. Had to watch the whole match on phone. Not ideal but only got logged out twice. No buffering issues and...
