Eddie is now officially the second longest serving of the 91 managers as Jim Bentley has today left Morecambe for AFC Fylde.

Longest serving manager is now Gareth Ainsworth of Wycombe Wanderers although this is based on Ainsworth being caretaker manager at Wycombe before Eddie came back to AFCB.
 
So is Eddie now the longest-serving manager at a single club (i.e., if we dispense with the 'consecutive' thing)?
The funny thing is, he's still also one of the youngest.
That's saying something about the world of being a manager.
 
I'll be honest, I was surprised with some of the current comments about EH, that this wasn't another where did he go wrong threads.
