Non (or maybe not) - Wings2fly making memories

Hi guys, further to my last post, may I just say a massive thank you to those who have made a donation so far. I've been overwhelmed with all of the messages that we have received.

We finally have an update on the Foundation, it's been slow progress recently due to work commitments etc... but very rewarding and I'm very pleased to introduce to you our latest project and more importantly, probably our main service...

Introducing Wings2fly, part of the Winifred Jean Burge Foundation. This unique Ambulance Service is designed to make the last Wishes Of Terminally ill People become a reality.

Wings2fly was founded in July 2017, after Paramedic Gary Adams, founder of The Winifred Jean Burge Foundation, was called to attend an emergency involving an acutely unwell patient suffering with the effects of Motor neurone disease. Being a first responder on a Rapid response vehicle, the patient was quickly treated and the decision was made to transport the patient back to the local Macmillan unit, having not had much experience dealing with MND in the past, it soon became apparent just how vulnerable and reliant on others, people suffering with a condition requiring palliative care can become.

The Foundation is currently in the early stages of applying for charity status.
The vision and hope of all connected with the WJBF is to be able to make a difference. And we believe Wings2fly will do exactly that. We want to fulfil the final wishes of palliative patients and create lasting memories for those family and friends who are with their loved ones every step of the way, every day.

Attending a family gathering, a wedding, a visit to the beach or maybe just a ride home to spend some quality 'normal' time together. Wings2fly will provide the transport and the staff to get you where you want to be, safely and comfortably.

Thanks for reading, please if you can, feel free to share this. The more publicity we get, the better.

Kind regards
Gazza

If any of you have a family member or friend that is currently receiving palliative care or nearing end of life and has a wish to fulfil but is finding it difficult due to the lack of available transport and suitable care. Then this service could well be what is missing.

We are just applying to make the Foundation a charity. Cancer, motor neurone disease etc.... Can be very debilitating. Wings2fly aim to make life easier and will also offer transport to the very weak and infirm. But our main goal is to fulfil terminally ill patients last wish.

Please if you can, like/follow our page, leave a comment or even a small donation if you wish. The more publicity our cause gets, the greater the number of people who will benefit from it.

For just as little as a £1 donation, it will go a long way to getting Wings2fly off the ground. We will be heavily dependent on people's generosity and we already have a packed schedule for the next 12 months, with a sponsored plane pull, charity football matches, sky dives, cake sales, picnic/fun days and more... To help raise money and awareness.

Thanks for reading guys.

Regards
Gary
