1974 This would have been during a trip back home from school for the Easter holidays. I have a photo somewhere of having a family pre-match picnic in Queens Park. Anyway, it was a boring 0-0 draw with Plymouth, but I think there was more off-pitch action than on. Attendance: 7,792.

1975 AFCB 0 V 0 Blackburn. Attendance: 7,282.

1980 AFCB 3 (Townsend, Butler, Evanson) V 1 Port Vale. Attendance: 2,863.

1986 Big club Wolves suffer an embarrassing defeat at home to AFCB. Scorers for ‘the tinpots’ that day were O’Driscoll, Thompson & Clarke. The match was watched by just 3,382 fans.

1987 (Non) Coventry 3 V 2 Leeds. FA Cup semi-final. Two apiece at 90 minutes. A cracking game. This was my only visit to Hillsborough to date. Attendance: 51,372.

1993 (Non) Dorchester Town 3 V 2 Waterlooville. Attendance: 708.

1997 AFCB 2 (Murray, Robinson) V 2 Gillingham. Attendance: 5008.

2003 AFCB 1 (Purches) V 0 Southend. Attendance: 6,767.

2004 James Hayter and Derek Holmes goals rescue AFCB from 2-0 at home to Chesterfield. Attendance: 7,081.

2008 AFCB 2 (Anderton, Kuffour) V 1 Bristol Rovers. Attendance: 6,867.

2014 A fortuitous and undeserved 1-1 draw at Yeovil. A defender blasts the ball against Fraser and it balloon over the head of their keeper into the net. Attendance: 6,931.

The Plymouth game I think was on Easter Friday and I am sure we were at home again the following day against Grimsby or someone like that

Yes you're right. Unfortunately I wasn't able to get to more than one home game each holiday, which is probably why I became so determined to get myself to games.

Went to the last four on that list ...
Purchey would chip in with a crucial goal now and again - great player for us ..
The Yeovil game wasn’t great at all !
