I was surprised to see us on this list and ahead of Bayern Munich. Not so tin pot perhaps. Of course, this is Richard Hughes fault!!!

Until these investments translate into trophies and substantially growing our fanbase (ie selling out away allocations, packing a 20k - 30k seater stadium etc.) unfortunately we'll still be seen as "tinpot". Which doesn't bother me, happy with our underdog status whilst we climb up the league and aim for Europe!
 
Tbf I think we are at a point between two operating models. We didn't really sell players as part of the last model and I think we will see this summer that that is no longer how we operate.
