Jefferson Lerma

Here is a fact

Here is a translation of Lerma"s comments wrt the following;
https://www.levante-emv.com/levante-ud/2018/01/15/lerma-aspas-diga-cara-grito/1666521.html

On the other hand, Lerma reported that, after hearing Aspas calling him "black s@@t", he (Lerma) lost his temper and tried to hurt the Galician player: Lerma stated, "There was a previous play, in which I "cut it" and when Aspas started to run I hit him in the head. He complained, I (Lerma) said: 'What's wrong?' He replied: 'F@@king black' I lost my head and wanted to look for him, **** him I then hit him in the ankle , and to the referee I said: 'what do you want me to do if he has called me black sh@t?'

It's got no relevance as I made clear in the bit of my post you deleted from the quotation box.

On the contrary, it's completely relevant in that it illustrates that in the past, Jefferson has been very much affected by racism and that he has also been infected by "the red mist" that potentially influences his performance.

I guess Spanish refs are perfectly fine with his 'antics' or shall we conveniently forget that he's played more games in Spain than Columbia

In La Liga he had 0 goals, and 1 assist in 26 games, with 16 yellow cards.

We know he's had disciplinary issues. Getting banned isn't good obviously but it doesn't follow that this makes him a bad signing and that we should get rid of him. People that have actually watched him are telling you that he's great and that any disciplinary issues are worth putting up with for a good version of a player we've been crying out for since Marv Bartley. It's not a problem.

He's also shown clear improvement in his disciplinary record in the short time he's been here... now sit down for this next bit as it is going to shock you... it is also possible for foreigners to learn how to speak the English language.

That's only last season, you forget 15/16 where he got a goal and another 11 yellows. Which is surprising as that would also suit your proposed narrative, but still conveniently forgotten

We will see. I hope you are correct

Hey punchy, calm down son. You posted a definition of a word earlier and it obviously seemed fine to you. If you think certain actions are acceptable (which I assume you must as you did it) then surely similar actions are also acceptable

So basically brush the sand out your vag

Its Tragic Tuesday.....and weve all been Fronkled! in the middle of a Cherries winning run!
I cant complain too much..I do a bit of winding up myself......

Ive had doubts about signing Latin players.....but once they are here and on the field in the now Famous Red n Black stripes, we as supporters are duty bound to back them.....this guy Jeff is giving 100% and doing what we needed....that should shut us doubters all up ! I was hoping for that to happen...if we call it wrong we have to admit it when we are proved wrong!

To have picked up 16 yellow cards without ever getting red carded for a second yellow offence in La Liga shows a remarkable degree of awareness and self control. Add in the 10 in the Premier League and we are looking at an outstandingly astute player. Especially when you consider that in both leagues he has played for unfashionable teams which get very little protection from the referees.

Of course he wants to fit in......I hope he is happy here. We will see
Fronkie will tell you that he's only talking with King because King is ahead of him in the number of fouls he's committed. What does that tell you about King, Fronkie? You can use statistics to tell you anything you want to claim

Definitely, Jeff is of a premier league quality whether he stays or not. I hope he stays.

As others have said he offers that bite in midfield we need, and more.... I know his finishing has not been great (apart from that own goal :p ) but his positional play is v good and the way he's prepared to be involved in attacks, running wide like he did in the Hudds match, even if he didn't get the pass, helps open up defences and keep them guessing. He offers much more too, as others have already said like busting a gut to make tackles or headers. I can't believe this OP post is almost critical or at least inviting criticism.... Weird.

So there, I really hope he is ok with family being in Spain, enjoys it here, and keeps the cards down. Definitely not a dirty player and 10 yellow cards for a player of that ilk is not bad. He's been a bit more careful of late in that regard too (I hope that's not going to be a curse for him in the Newcastle match). I also believe he's a bit like the N'golo Kanté midfield dynamite that kept Leicester on track for the title.

As I say, IF EH can tame him without losing his effectiveness and IF he decides to move his family from Spain to Bournemouth and IF his regular injuries do not come back again........well........let's just hope
