You think a conurbation with over half a million people in it isn't going to have a football club?

Tbh the prospect of a phoenix club starting again in non-league sounds like a laugh to me. No other set of supporters would have had anything like the ride we would have.

Most of them haven't been on the ride that long.

Well in that case why did we go into Admin twice? May have more fans than those clubs but once the TV money goes we're phucked, and all the TV money and sponsorship is spunked on players wages every year anyway and we're still heading relegation. We have no assets once a few players are sold which will obviously go back to AFCB Limited Enterprises. No ground and a bunch clueless tits running the club like Blake etc.

Yes, I'm saying if we go bust and end up having to work our way back up from non-league it won't be too bad. It's inconceivable that the club won't come back. Name another area this size with no football league club within 30 miles.

Plymouth, city status bigger place than Bournemouth, potential fanbase whole of Cornwall and West Devon, nearest club Exeter (44 miles). Current status - League 2.

I think you are missing my point mate. Al said relegation would be the end of us and I said it wouldn't. Plymouth have a football club.
 
Plymouth never made it to the PL though or struck up debts that would make Wall Street cringe. For them it's been a case of you can't miss what you haven't had.

You call us denialists. Some of us are just not that bothered if we go back to where we came from. We've seen them in the lower leagues before and know its nothing to wet your knickers over.

There's f*ck all we can do about it even if it was. What have you done about it other than whinge about it on here every year and insult people who refuse to wet their bed?
