Who would want Eddie?

A thread on here looking for somebody who could replace Eddie.

If he was to go through own choice or other, who would want him?
Give him a few months off and he would be looking for a club.
What would be a good fit for him?
 
Most PL clubs would have sacked him a year ago so I don't think he would be in great demand above Championship level. And why would he leave for another Championship club? I think the only way he will leave is if Demin goes and I don't see that happening either. However,if we are in the bottom half of the table at Christmas he may be kicked upstairs to become Director of football.
 
Assuming he is not up for staying for the sake of this discussion, If I was Eddie I’d take a years break, take stock of what made me a success and what I lost in the last 18 months. I’d plan how I would do things differently... I’d then look for a new club that had potential to stay in the Premier League with the correct infrastructure. A Sheff Wed/Forest/Birmingham City type club as long as it had stable ownership. I’d then go back to the hell for leather approach and go for it.

I want him to stay as a Bournemouth fan but if I were a neutral mentor or friend of his that’s what I would be advising him.
 
I actually think if I were a PL chairman I wouldn’t take him if available this summer. However, after a bit of a break and maybe some pundit work, he’d be on a lot of shortlists in Jan or next summer.
 
Can’t see a premier league team being interested after this season. He’s in the top 10 earners of premier league managers as well, so anyone in the championship that might be interested would need deep pockets.
If he can get back to what made him successful, then a team like Bristol City would make sense.
Hope he stays with us and would like to see him work with a young, hungry team again and not have to deal with the big egos of the prem.
 
To answer the o/p question...

Who would want him? I would want him. I need someone fit and energetic to take my fit and energetic dog for a long walk twice a day...

...oh, and if he can teach him ball control then so much the better!
