Middlesbrough v AFC Bournemouth

Well, last week I was praising the Championship, but today???????

That was awful, flashbacks of some matches over the past couple of seasons.

Middles-burnley???

Note that this was likely the team that we would have started the PL with this year .... with Ramsdale. We would have been slaughtered up there.
No we wouldn't necessarily. Every game is different. That was a typical Warnock team, with a joke for a ref. When only one team wants to play, that is often the net result.

So we concede late and it’s time to pick out the usual scapegoats. Not willing to give the credit to their keeper for a great save ( we would have done if it was Ramsdale!). Only giving grudging credit for an audacious finish (albeit wiith a bit of a deflection) for our goal.

Personally thought Bego was decent with his catches, arguable whether he should have come for their goal, if say not given the traffic between him and the ball. He did spill the free kick but it moved some.

Away draw, didn’t play well, should accept we ground out a point.

Need a GK these 2 we have are dross.
Not played well these 1st 2 matches, have 4 points but it needs to be alot better.

Sorry, are you saying that this team would have done well in the PL??
I'm saying every game is different, and I have seen that sort of crappy game plenty in the last 40 years. Generally we have traditionally struggled against hoof ball bully boys, especially when they get underpinned by an appalling refereeing display

I feel so lucky to have watched this "Live Stream" as it has just finished with the second half taking 57 minutes to complete plus 3 mins 35 added time.

Any one else blessed with watching a dire 45 minutes stretched out to 57 minutes?

Decent?! He spilled two standard shots and watched a 40 yard cross, go across the 6 yard box glued to his line. He even nearly didnt make a clearance due to his starting position.

Their keeper on the other hand was fantastic, with the limited things he needed to do, especially that phenomenal first half save.

Switch those keepers over and we would have won 2/3 nil.

Well if you don’t think that was a decent clearance then there is little point in discussing it.

I don't think they went down especially easily, no more than Adam Smith did. Stacey was lucky to stay on as was Lerma. PL refs would have been a lot harsher.

Don't underestimate the value of not losing the first two games, 3 if you count palace.

Horrid game, but that will happen. I'd like to have seen Arter there given how good he was mid week.

Shame about having to play City. Another game Friday would have been great.

Huge critic of Bego, but can’t believe people blaming him for their goal, Billing unable to move beyond a stroll to shut down a short throw in having come on as sub, 3 centrebacks but nobody able to get to that cross first - must be the keepers fault
