Burnley v AFC Bournemouth - FA Cup 5th Round

Great result, good performances for everyone.

Only downside was commentators love in for Billing. Better than normal but I didn't see anything Wilshere wouldn't have done better.

Rico may have wasted a couple of crosses but generally kept good shape and good to see the ball played forward.

CCV , Pearson, Stan stood out. Quality from Stan but covered a lot ground tracking back.

Billing was outstanding, fully deserved the love in imho...credit where its due.

Woodgate saying the word 'our' alot in his BT interview. He's already bought in to the beauty that is AFCB:utc:

Made me imagine an interview "So Gareth Bournemouth are now promoted with 5 games to spare is now the the time to throw your hat in the ring for the permanent managers job?"

"'ere look lass I'm only thinking about Norwich on Saturday and maybe we'll go from there"

55 years ago..0-7 after 1-1 at DC when Archer equalised. Surridge even looks like him ! Revenge tonight !

Cup Fever now ?

I had that 'feeling' in a previous post !

Surridge....The Man to build a Dream on !

:loser:

I seem to recall that Burnley's Bob Lord refused to let the TV cameras into Turf Moor for the replay. I was livid!

He was good, credit for that, but not that good. They credited him with setting up the first, but that was an assist to the assist to the assist to the assist, all after he prodded a leg here and there indecisively to win the ball.

Credit he had good game but not MoM.

Semi finals at Wembley?
My idiocy has already been highlighted!

Pleased with the win. Listened to the first part before I realised I was late for a virtual Zoom presentation (oops!), and came back just as the pen was awarded. Comments suggest we played well.
