He can't go with a 3 again tomorrow surely!.... he must know that if it doesn't work again there's no way back for him with our fan base......no he'll definitely go with a 4.......Watford are playing 4231 anyway so there's no reason why we shouldn't.

He's going to with a 3 and 6 midfielders again isn't he?
I'm thinking 442 will be the new preferred formation, just a hunch !

Dissect the wording of my post if you wish (it is missing a “‘s” at the end of Rico to make it clearer). The point was about inconsistent man management of players with language in the media.
JW speaks perfect Spanish and would certainly of had a word with him. and I'm sure Rico would be the first to say it was a stupid challenge.

It was a stupid challenge, but he isn’t the first and certainly won’t be the last to do something like that in the penalty area.

Without the challenge, not sure their player wouldn't have scored. He makes no challenge and he's blasted for that. The preferred comment is that the positioning/marking needed to be better, but it's easy to say that when the ball ricochets.

‘Coaching staff to remain as it is now - no more in or out.’
What have they been up to?
The Hokey Cokey?
Carnal relations?
I rather think old Woodgate is beginning to sound like jolly good entertainment!

they get the first one from a set play and then a stupid penalty, going to the floor too early really."

Was thinking about this last night - how perfect was our 14/15 team?

Five perfect partnerships.

Elphick - Cook
Francis - Ritchie
Daniels - Pugh
Arter-Surman
Kermorgant - Wilson

Incredible really. Really spoilt that season. Not much for JW to live up to!
Got lucky with injuries also

Formation Junkyism is as rife now as ever.

It matters only enough for it to be a basic and adjustable unit....when the team is 20/minutes into a game.. things will have happened to warrant the 'leaders' knowing if its working against the other teams assumed 'formation'..which might not be operating as predicted....and then adjusting where needs dictate...and getting the manager 'on it' at half- time..not bloody 75th/80th minute.
Our main downfall is...not knowing or having a ' basic formation' and the players being f√cked about in different positions..and the intense training causing too many injuries.
and I daresay players exaggerating injuries because they are p*ssed off not spotting Madrid scouts wining and dining their agents and also feel its pointless turning out for a club they have no affinity with..now we are in the Championship. The closer we get to the January Sales from October onwards the worse it gets..each season...then even worse after because they haven't got away to Manu, Juve or Paris!
Then you get all the rambling and ridiculous posts..like this one...trying to make sense of it...( don't knock us too hard ..we might just hit on some truths amongst the crap)

Rico not being near his man is a regular occurrence though. I asked a question about this on a different thread as I am sure Eddie (and JT) must have told him to play narrow, but it leaves a free ball out to their right winger. Can anyone explain why he would have been told to do this? It doesn’t seem to happen in our right fullback position

So more than ever it shows that Max makes little to no decisions with regards the running of the club. It also shows to me that JW is absolutely temporary
OK, so Blake and Hughes have full responsibility for how the club is run. That also means that these two individuals have to take FULL responsibility for the debacle that this season is becoming.

If I were Max, I'd be furious, their bungling has cost him tens of millions.
