Well it's an outside voice which is a positive. It's also a guy who has played for Real Madrid so has been in a dressing room with big personalities, even if he wasn't particularly successful there. Thirdly, it's a decisive and swift move rather than sitting on it for a few weeks.

I'm intrigued and hopeful it will help.

Well Graeme Jones made a lot of difference didn't he. I wonder if Woodgate can change the mentality of this group of players? Doesn't seem like his appointment is dealing with our problem at the moment.

Don’t think so , considering his poor tenure as Boro manager- hardly an upgrade !

That was my thought. I'm a tad bemused by the near blanket negativity.

I sat near him once in a cafe in Yarm (nice place by the way). Thats it, my story telling is done. (one of my best, that)
