Where we are they only do 1 day a week.

Maybe places like this need to open more to get vaccines done .

I agree whilst we do need to be wary people who have been vaccinated will think what was the point if suffered we thrown back to square one .

Germany to 'classify Britain as a risk region'

The UK has given other countries green, amber and red list status depending on the prevalence of coronavirus there.

Now, German government sources have told Reuters the country plans to classify Britain as a risk region due to the emergence of the Indian variant here.

They were very keen for each stage unlocked to be irreversible. I think they will chuck everything at it. Where they will get the doses from, who knows. I can't imagine we will be pressing India for the 5 Million backlog.

Maybe the Germans should classify Germany as a risk region as well. The Indian variants were detected in Germany back in April.

It seems a bit ‘tit for tat’ as Germany is on the Amber list and rightly so.

Just listening to the press conference it doesn’t seem that the green list will be changing anytime soon this Summer.

Plus stage 4 of opening in June May be a doubt.

Didn't really say it offended me did I Jimbob.

Let's be honest, it's pretty hard to avoid it when radio stations even lead with it as their main negative story on the hour/half hr & you're at work for the majority of the day.

I think NR post was decrying the constant panic, doom and gloom and deliberately negative and often misleading to the point of lying reports. Just look at them today with all the headlines - I have never seen so many could, may, should, possibly, if, worst case bollox in my life. Then they drag some previously unheard of scientist out for their 5 minutes of fame to try and frighten us all back into our little boxes again. Add into that the fact that todays media couldn't find a story for themselves if their lives depended on it, cut and paste, repeat the previous question again and again. If we had this lot in the 2nd WW the country would have surrendered when the first bomb dropped.

I feel really sorry for those people and their families.

But is this the right time to be making those comments after our government are being accused of not acting sooner to stop the variant being brought into this country because they allowed so many to come back?

People were wanting to come back, not sure how many wanted to go out.

It is a really awful situation out there.
