I'm happy.. and like to spread my joy across a broad canvas...
Actually i'm ecstatic with the win v Forest and a good point v WBA... with our young team and new manager getting himself bedded in and competing with the best in the Championship.
Watching very competitive , albeit low- step non-league is also quite interesting .

I think we will win v Birmingham on Wednesday and then again v Blackpool...that's positive innit ?

Can’t argue with that Al.
The trouble is that I think he already has committed to leaving us but unfortunately the offers we’ve received so far have been deemed inadequate by the club. This could still get very messy. I’m hoping that an acceptable offer comes in ASAP to be honest. For a multitude of reasons we need him gone if his mind is already elsewhere.

I am sure we would take an undisclosed from some club.
 
A little disappointed we couldn’t get any more money for him, but the clock is ticking on our own need for re-enforcements and I guess money saved on his wages will also be significant

tbh best to get this deal out the way and give us time to get replacements including someone decent upfront. Not really backfilled king, Shane long, callum Wilson or surridge to give proper depth to the squad

Yep agree and I hope we already have a deal lined up waiting for Danjumas to go through because signing someone decent upfront will cost us more when other teams know we have some pocket money out of the 20mil burning a hole in our pocket!
 
£20m was reported to our asking price, if we've managed to hold out for it whilst giving ourselves a little bit of time to go shopping (though not much!) that's a reasonable outcome. Massive boots to fill though.

Well..we already knew that...but now the existing strikers have a more concentrated and needed pressure to fill the gap left by the wayward .. 'star'.....the gain for Spain might not be a strain back here in the rain!
