Blackburn Rovers v AFC Bournemouth - 3 Games To Go

What a show today. Do not fear Forest. They were only ever good for 2 seasons over 40 years ago, when an alcoholic was in charge.

Disagree strongly. A draw would mean we go into the final day only needing a draw vs Millwall. It’s our best out. We ain’t beating Forest, they’re a far better side than us under Cooper. If they weren’t then we wouldn’t even be in this situation, given their horrific start under their previous manager.
You really are contemptible, if you truly are an AFCB fan, which I seriously doubt. We win 3-0 away from home yet again, and here you are once again, predicting our demise. Our best out is to win both games, whilst Fulham lose both theirs and win the league. You'd never see anything positive though would you?

We'll beat florist.....they are in good form but Cooper is still the same manager that bored everyone rigid with Swansea......we have better players....it'll come down to that.

A good win today but I fear that Forest are just too strong. They barely concede and create bucket loads of chances in almost every game, I’d be absolutely ecstatic with a point from Tuesday’s game.
Kept half an eye on the Forest game today and, though they only gave up one, Swansea had a number of chances that fell apart on the final ball or a shot going just wide/at the keeper. If we have our clinical boots on on Tuesday, like earlier in the season, I think we'll get a few goals. The big question for me is if our defense and midfield can stand up to the task of keeping them out, hope Travers will put in one of his usual brick wall performances. If you'll be ecstatic with a point, might want to have an ambulance on hand for the heart attack when we take all 3 ;)

Haha you've said we'll lose every game, and you're on your 3rd team to finish above us.
I called Forest to finish above us weeks ago and most on here laughed, so confident of it that i put a substantial sum of money on it. Maybe I do know what I’m talking about?

How can you be so confident? Have you actually seen them play at all?

Scott Parker’s AFC Bournemouth took one step closer to the Premier League (PL) with a statement 3-0 win away to Championship playoff-chasing Blackburn Rovers, as the ‘Cherries’ ended a two-game run without a victory.

Having dragged themselves from 3-0 down to take a point in midweek against Swansea City, automatic promotion remains in the hands of Bournemouth, who faced a tricky test away to play-off-chasing Blackburn. Settling the nerves early, Dominic Solanke latched on the end of Philip Billing’s flick-on, before finishing calmly to net his 29th league goal of the campaign.

Long-time manager Tony Mowbray announced he looks set to leave Rovers at the end of the season, despite promotion to the PL still possible for Blackburn. A tepid atmosphere inside Ewood Park didn’t help the hosts in their search for an equaliser, with Joe Rothwell’s wayward strike just before the break as close as the Lancashire-based outfit came to a leveller.

Below par throughout the opening 45 minutes, a much-improved Blackburn side attacked from the off in the second and were cheered on by a bumper Ewood Park crowd. Unsurprisingly, Ben Brereton Díaz was the man to come closest for Rovers, with the Chile international forcing a strong save from Bournemouth goalkeeper Mark Travers.

Under the cosh, an impressive late flurry from Billing would secure all three points for Bournemouth, with the midfielder netting twice to crush Blackburn’s hopes. Firstly combining well with Solanke, who squared to Billing for a tap-in, before sharp work from Siriki Dembélé presented the 25-year-old with a chance to make it three. All eyes now switch towards Tuesday’s vital clash against Nottingham Forest for Bournemouth, as the ‘Cherries’ look to confirm their PL return with a win.
