Home matches / points

I have a grand total of one home point but am thinking about coming over next month for the league match v Everton. What are the chances tickets will drop that low? Do we usually get down to one point with home matches?

I could beg on here for someone else with more points to buy me two tickets, but I'd quite like to hang onto that point if I can now it's there and not sure I'll be back over again this season.

Last two games have gone to 1+ points on the returns tickets and exchange site. Both have been from the day before the game.

Every home game this season had gone to the 3rd drop before selling out. There are returns and re-sales available which I understand will be set at 1 point going forward.

As soon as the Everton game sells out (based on previous games I would expect this to be around 19th-21st October) then the best bet is try the resale platform.

Leicester was sold out but my daughter got a ticket when afcb announced they had returns so must have a chance of similar for Everton

Considering we only got around 10k in vs Leicester you theoretically shouldn’t have too much trouble getting a ticket.

Club is usually quite helpful to exiles visiting uk. So maybe worth a call
Definately this. I came back from NZ and ticket office sorted me 3 tickets for the Brighton game - was going to be the first time I had seen the team play for 15 years - then good old Liz popped her clogs and the rest is history. However, they were brilliant organising and sorting a credit. Can give you details if you need contacts.

True. But all returned tickets and exchange tickets were sold.
Once again it’s people not turning up who either don’t want fans to use their season ticket or points holders not wanting to lose a point on a returned ticket.

Agree 100 per cent.

It's the old codgers who have had season tickets for years who take the choice to attend or not.

If there were 20,000 season tickets available, maybe we could fill a ground with 17,000 attending.

You see it every week...empty seats.

It's not for a want of people trying to attend.

How
It’s a bit annoying how our way of calculating attendances is different to other clubs.

It leads to videos like this:

I know wherever you sit you can’t count all the unoccupied seats, even with binoculars. But I can’t believe we have 1000 or more empty seats each game, that’s one in ten.
With regards to the video, if we do as Brighton, Arsenal and a few others do, base the attendance on tickets sold we would be top of the league. 100%.

waiting for the points drop will be stressful and make travel booking difficult. Book the travel now and, if you don't get anything on the One Point Friday sale, I'm sure someone on here will sort you a ticket.

The biggest percentage of no shows is ST holders. The club analyse these on a regular basis (empty seats are no good for anyone) but you can't force people to come.

The re-sale platform is a big step forward but it will take a while for people to adopt it.
