Bet you had to Google that .
Groeneveld is a tough word to recall/spell correctly for most in UK I'd have thought!
Isn’t it just Dutch for Greenfield? Doesn’t look all that complicated.

Sounds like we'd be bailing out Juventus by taking him off their hands.
Its always a sellers market in the January windowSo Juventus sign him for €18.5m, over four seasons he is only picked to appear in about half their league matches. They decide he isn't going to make the grade and do want to sell him... for over double the fee they paid. Right.
No idea if there's anything in this but if a deal is to be done we need to negotiate hard. Juventus want him off their wage bill and to raise funds. However, we aren't their piggy bank.

Also completely deromanticises people. Paolo Rossi (Paul Red)…. Enrico Chiesa (Henry Church)Yes, let's just change foreigners names to what they 'should be' in English.
Sorry Roger, but that's a bit 1985.

Quick search on Twitter shows several clubs interested including Borrusia Dourtmund
I think it’s a great idea. That makes one of my favourite Italian composers Joe Green.Yes, let's just change foreigners names to what they 'should be' in English.

I was just thinking that. It would be a sure fire way to make us most Americans' favourite PL football club, that's for sure. And the thought of that probably puts big dollar signs into Bill's eyes. I wouldn't like to see us restrict our recruitment in that way and they probably don't have enough players of PL quality but if we can get a good mix in with a few of the very best American players, it could be huge for our profile in the USA !Perhaps as replacement for their US 'wonderkid' Reyna who moves to us.... now he woukd be a good signing.
I wonder if there will be a slight bias towards us signing US players...
