Common sense tells me that pro clubs who spend millions on scouting networks between them, would generally spot these 'hidden gems' pretty quickly, if they indeed existed... which they don't.

I think our Paddy should be Paddy O'Toole. A diminutive ginger-haired Irishman who is a wizard on the wing with his jinking runs and pinpoint crosses. Can be hot-tempered when he is repeatedly scythed to the ground by the opposition's thug-like No.4.

Great sense of humour though, and a real livewire in the dressing-room with his practical jokes.
