Our next games, would imagine if he makes it to next weekend a loss against Newcastle will seal the deal, however horrific run of games coming up, didn’t we play Man City; Liverpool and arsenal in a row at the start of the season too?

The fact we've waited this long makes me think we never intend to sack him and we are happy to go down. But that makes no sense given that we've just spent £80m on players so I honestly have no idea what the plan is.
The longer we wait though the harder it will be to attract a decent manager and the deeper in the sh*t we will be

As per the above, it's probably too late for any new manager to make enough of an impact now to keep us up unless we act immediately. Chances are he will now only go if we lose badly to both Newcastle and Wolves, after which we have 3 games we'd be very unlikely to get anything from and the players' confidence would be on the floor at that point with 12 games left.

The window to bring in a 'fire fighter' to keep us up has probably passed, so only makes sense to bring in someone who will stick with us if we go down.

We had a golden opportunity to bring someone in during the world cup (a one-off chance for them to get a mini 'pre-season' in with the players) and we blew it.

For someone who keeps moaning (several times a week?) about being attacked by others, that seems a rather an interesting post ;)
 
What a miss-match between the squad and the manager!! After Foley’s recent spending we have a squad with real youthful potential. What’s needed from the coach is experience, tactical nous, and mature man-management skills (especially important for young players). Would GO’N do any better in the Championship if (as looks increasingly likely) we’re for relegation? Almost certainly NOT. So better to cut our losses now - we can hardly do worse than this week-by-week slide out of the PL.

Thats what I've said before, there is most definitely going to be decent managers available abroad who'd be interested in joining. In the same way there's a massive pool of players too. Particularly now Foley has demonstrated we have a very healthy budget available.

Whoever it suits... I don't mind....and I don't mind if I get told the same.....this next period is going to attract plenty of attrition between posters so it's no place for faint hearts eh ? ...;)
