Based on his statement he was in charge for games 23 to 34 inclusive. This is the table for that period.

Quoted as being circa £3m for Big Sam if he keeps them up... THREE MILLION for 4 weeks' work...Well, 2 of Leeds, Leicester, Florist, and Everton will stay up so I reckon Big Sam has a good a chance as anyone. No doubt a massive 7 figure payout if he manages it ! No wonder he is smiling.
Is it wearing a gaudy shirt? That's a good looking table...
Heard it's a couple hundred thousand if they go down (source veracity unknown). Still not bad, but definitely some incentive to try to pull it off.Quoted as being circa £3m for Big Sam if he keeps them up... THREE MILLION for 4 weeks' work...
No doubt he'll still get a wedge if they go down... Absolute win win situation right there folks... Sam is laughing all the way to the Nat West...
The good thing for Leeds fans is that within Big Sams capacity for comprehensive management is the possibility that of a few of the lazy b@stards in their squad will get a punch in the gob if they don't conform to the task !
That would drag them down further....I wonder how Alan Curbishley, Paul Ince and Ru Paul are going to get on managing them for the last two games.
They have everything to lose. If Big Sam is genuinely the best roll of the dice available to them for a few million pounds in exchange for a month's work then that is a really damning indictment of the state of football management. If nothing else, at least they're trying something different. Pretty much dead and buried under previous boss, judging by how theyve performed last few games and results. Nothing to lose imo.

It's a desperate lack of imagination. Similar to Chelsea bringing in Frank.

Not sure they’d want their season to drag on any longer?
Well- two out of three’s not bad.He certainly backs himself:
"In his first press conference as Leeds boss, Allardyce said:
"I might be 68 and look old and antiquated but there's nobody ahead of me in football terms. Not Pep, not Klopp, not Arteta. It's all there with me""
