Ben Pearson

A vineyard is a sort of farm, isn't it?
Hmmm...I did think of that but it might be stretching things a tad :p
I've never hear a vineyard called a "wine farm", so maybe not, although technically it sort of is.

He's probably got shares in a chicken farm or a cattle ranch or something somewhere in his portfolio which is a bit more "farmy" and which he shouldn't sell just to get Jeff to stay. ;)

It's not a "wine farm", it's a grape farm! I don't think Bill would need to sell one to keep Jefferson, in any case. That could come out of the football money, not the wine money.

Personally, I only consider a team to be mid-table when they are in P9.5
Every other team is either the league leader, upper mid-table, lower mid-table or what I like to call "Southampton"
In that case, median EPL points at the moment are 40.5:
Min. 1st Qu. Median Mean 3rd Qu. Max. 23.00 30.50 40.50 42.35 50.75 74.00

Your two mid-table teams are Fulham and Chelsea. :geek:

Good to know, thanks KO66.
Presumably by this new metric Southampton are still "Southampton" ?
That's really all that matters at the end of the day ;)

I’m surprised we haven’t seen the loan players moved on already. The likes of Pearson (who is the one I’d actually keep personally), Dembele, Marcondes, Lowe and Kilkenny will have very minimal game time next season
