Nottingham Forest v AFC Bournemouth

Just watching re--run of Gillette soccer Saturday ,when our third went in,the former ref(Mike Riley?) acting as a sort of refwatc, was celebrating ,pumping his arms in the air as though a fan sat in the the stand.
Anyone know?
He's a Tranmere fan - I think a goal of theirs had just come up on the ticker, or he'd got news of one.

Joyous to win 3-2 again with a late winner after falling behind. And at the “world famous” city ground.

Credit to forest for a gutsy display as couldnt tell they had a man short and felt in the second half they wanted it more than us, won several fifty-fifty tackles to get back to 2-2. Quality told in the end and we should have had 5 with those chances we had

Out of interest, where would his arm be in a natural position if not slight behind him while leaning back? Of course his arm was natural.
Sorry, you seem to be confusing me with a member of the PGMOL. As far as I could see his arm was away from his body, which they have deemed to be an unnatural position on many occasions so I'm just going by their past decisions.

Not read the thread yet so apologies if repeating. Great game of football that, had everything! Sending offs, five goals, penalty claims, a last minute winner just wow.

Delighted for Dom while nervous of the attention it will bring. Andoni telling him to be in the box and not dropping deep has turned him into the perfect striker with the last bit of the jigsaw.

Dango’s goal line clearance was excellent. I think better teams might expose him but he did a solid job and deserves a mention.

I thought Tavs was everywhere.

Hope it’s not too serious for Cook and that Scott came off as on a booking rather than feeling something. Semenyo clearly did and the ref was looking to even it up.

Credit to Forest, that’s probably arguably the best I’ve seen ten men play against us and I don’t think it was anything we were particularly doing wrong other than missing Cooks control. Scott is a ten not a 4 or 8 as we saw when he lost the ball badly with no cover to give them a lifeline.

Just brilliant. The next games can’t come around quick enough.

Think forest will take the positives from that display as clearly put the effort in. Would single out Gibbs-white for his efforts to get forest back into the game and thought he made the difference as our midfield lost control it had

As Neil said a cracking game awaiting MOTD for clarification of the yellows but did Forest only have 10 men on the pitch after the red card? All the plaudits will go to Dom Solanke for his 3 goals but Tavanier and Christie for work rate were brilliant. NIce cameo from Rodwell to calm things down in midfield.

Over half way to the holy grail of 40 points.

We didn’t play well, still won though. Looking really good. UTC

The sort of game we may have even lost under O'Neil.

He would have had us camping behind the ball at 2-1 up.

When they score and make it 2-2 I believe we could have gone on to lose under Gary.

The great thing about Andoni is that he will never sit back to secure a result.

It's anti football, and I'd rather lose a game trying for a winner than sit deep trying to take a point.

Fortune favours the brave.
