Burnley v AFC Bournemouth - Sunday 1 pm

We lost the midfield battle completely that half. Christie and Cook were completely dominated. Tav confidence is completely shot. Kerkez a bit all over the place. Only really Neto, Smith, Zab and Kluivert played well that half yet we lead.

It's night and day vs Man City. Tiredness after midweek extra time maybe?
 
We really deserve to be trailing at the half, but life is not always fair. Burnley have some good attacking players, but I'm not sure how we managed to cede them something like 80% possession. Hail Justin Kluivert for making a nice move and paying off a chance. I'd be tempted to substitute Sinisterra for Tavernier at half time, though Tav's defensive work may keep him on the pitch for a while yet.
 
Five shots but more importantly our only shot on target ended in a goal.

Wonder if Semenyo might be substituted at half-time.
 
Is that some kind of walking football from our side today? Also, Tav. Can we loan him out to Southampton and get Brooks back please? :) Shocking performance so far and we're very lucky to have 1:0. Second half Sini for Tav as an urgent matter. We're so exposed on the left side as he's not helping Kerkez at all!
 
I'm not sure that Tav has done enough recently to warrant his position in the starting line up and that theme is continuing today. He's looking lacklustre in all parts of his game so far. I'm surprised that Sinisterra isn't first choice or even Dango. We're riding our luck so far and if not for a solid Neto save would deservedly going in level at HT. Disappointing to have lost Sensei and just hope its not too serious as although Meps is a decent back up we are very thin at CB. I'd expect a change at HT , maybe Sini for Tav.
 
very boring, Gary O'Neil of last season feel about it. Semenyo has to come off now, he was lucky to get away with a second yellow at the end. Same for Kluivert he got away with a yellow earlier and got booked for something that could have been a red towards the end of the first half. Dom looks like he is injured.
Against any team other than Sheffield Utd or Burnley we would be a few goals down playing like this.

Zabarnyi and Neto have been brilliant. Kerkez, Christie and Mepham have been decent. Everyone else needs to step up their game.
