Burnley v AFC Bournemouth - Sunday 1 pm

We didn’t play well, so coming away from Burnley with a win and clean sheet can’t be bad.

Semenyo went close with a couple of similar shots, to the third one that was on target.

With the other results this weekend in our favour, we should be ‘happy bunnies’ tonight.

Time for the handbrake off and full on Iraola ball for the next few games, can't remember the last time we had such a winnable run of fixtures....4 at home in a row too! Not much to lose but if we win the next 3 or 4 it likely becomes our best PL season ever.

FFS don't read this whole thread - unless you have a bedsheet washing business. ;)
I wish I'd read this first.

We have to accept if we play a lot of purely hopeful balls from the back, were going to gift a lot of possession. And trying early challenges all over the pitch means we'll often get played around in midfield. And then we rely on the back 4.

But when it works we get the ball in space high up. We created 5 or 6 clear-cut chances today.

I thought we were increasingly comfortable in the second half, and Ant and Dom could have had a few more.

Anyone saying we were lucky or Burnley were the better team... which Burnley player would you put in our team that would make us better? I thought Burnley were very poor, not Premier League quality.
We picked them off easily, which you would expect.

4 homes games in row now and all against teams below us. Pretty safe already but should be guaranteed before our next away game.
Yes. Those three points today really set us up nicely to finish part one of the job in the next few games. The pressure is practically off. We can just go for it without fear of maybe only drawing or even losing.

Hopefully the players can get a rest this week and come back with batteries fully charged for the final push.
