League cup and FA Cup should be amalgamated in some way perhaps.

However, we probably wouldn't say that if we were in League 2.

I do think the players play too many games over a season, without an adequate break.

If you're a really good player, you could end up playing 60 games in a year.

It was already up to 80 games a season when the World Cup was on.

Now with a club World Cup and expanded Champions League, those numbers will be almost every season.

Yeah, but the problem is those FA Cup replays that lower league clubs want. So selfish.

I always thought they should merge the English and Scottish league cups so we could all have a big punch up.

Number 7….Exeter City

will play…..

Number 19….Inverness Caledonian Thistle

Could have all sorts of things. Regionalised rounds earlier on. Even group stages if you were to throw in the paint pot.

Premier League sides could have their development squads in it instead of their first team squad to save their stars from playing so many games…

Have some fun with it, so why not be different. It’s not the FA Cup.

Does anyone really care about the fa cup anymore?
We all know that one of the big 6 will win it (3 teams outside the 6 have won it in the last 30 yrs)
Ridiculous Wembley semi-finals - tv choosing to show all prem ties, where you watch reserve teams bumble around in a half empty ground.
It used to be huge because it was the one guaranteed live football match on the tele every year. The country would come to a standstill on finals day. These days, unless you have skin in the game, many don’t even bother to watch.
Really it hasn’t been properly relevant for years, so which channel is showing it doesn’t really matter much to me.
