Hi Ted, my name is Trevor Carr. In the 5th year at Summerbee from September 1968 to summer of '69. I was in the class with Roger, Dave and people like Helen Dufall (spelling?), Jane Turvey Richard Coleshaw, Robert Bartlett and Ian Tucker. (best friend). Barry Jarvis was a friend too but I think he was in another class.

    to be continued..

A great bunch of teachers. Rosemary Evans, Frank Troke (who was great guy, liked him a lot). Mr Hart (French) Mr Hall (Geography - did he marry Rosie Evans later?) Mr Budd (Physics - today we are going to do a short sharp test..), Mr Forder (PE teacher Fairy Forder we called him). Mr Brown (woodwork - my final teacher in the 6th form. )
I left Summerbee in December 1969.

    Disliked Dan Crone, headmaster (Batman..).

We all had nicknames. Nothing too nasty..

I thought Roger died a bit earlier than the age of 22 as I met Dave Stark at the Five Ways and I happened to be cycling and wouldn't have seen him otherwise. By my age of 22 I'd progressed through from a motorbike to a car and also by mid 1975 I was working in London.
Thought of Roger a lot over the years. Good lad.
    Kind regards
