Very sad news. Totally instrumental in our recent history. There’s a select few that Premier League wouldn’t have happened had they not been around. Arguably four… he was one of the four. That’s enough for me.
Interviewed him as part of a group on a podcast and his love for this club was so sincere and genuine.
If the club doesn’t issue a minutes applause (I’m sure they will) it would be shameful.

Obviously he was a very divisive character but even his most ardent critics cannot deny that we wouldn't be where we are now without his input and 69 is still fairly young these days.

Remember him standing next to me in the away terrace at Peterborough on a Friday evening game, always thought he was a decent enough guy and as others have pointed out, his involvement really set the trajectory for where we are now. RIP Eddie.

Very sad news, gone too soon ..
Eddie is the reason we still have a team to support , Eddie is the reason we are now an 'Established 'premier league club, he did so much during his time with us .. forever thankful for this and certainly will never be forgotten .
Thanks Eddie for all you did for our great club .. RIP .
