Burnley v AFC Bournemouth - Sunday 1 pm

Strange game. I thought we were quite bad, but it also felt like we could’ve gone up a gear if we were truly pushed to it. Disappointed with the lack of real vindictiveness and energy to put them to the sword, because they were absolutely gopping. Overall, a good away premier league performance.

I’ll await the verdict of those there, but watching on the tv, it felt like the worst performance of the season. More akin to what we were served up under O’Neil… just to be topical… :)

I honestly thought once we got the first, Burnley would step off and we’d start to dominate and play the game we have been lately. But it never happened, the press never got going and so many players were off their best.

I’ll take the points, but performance wise I hope we don’t see a repeat.

Sort of games that you need to dig in and bring the result home. Job done. Same again vs Sheffield Utd and Luton over the next week and a half. A more combative meps may suit those games than Senesi if he is injured.

Haven’t seen any post match comments but to be honest, I thought Kluivert should have been sent off.

I’m sure more will be made of the disallowed goal, but that’s an obvious foul and the right decision.

I don't think so. He didn't put weight on the leg and instantly pulled back. He caught him no doubt but it was mitigated by his actions during and after the contact

Agree. The game is getting silly if you’re getting red cards given for that. He mistimed it but his foot was low and there was absolutely no intent to hurt the opponent. Wouldn’t want to see a red card given to an opposition player for that either.

A question from Rich, have we won any Premier League lunch time kick offs. I think we've won some in the Championship but can't recall any Prem' : )

After my initial disappointment over the performance today, I feel far more pragmatic now. Played crap but came away with a win and clean sheet. They looked very tired but have the best part of a week to recover. Sinisterra must be doing something very wrong in training?
