Luton Town v AFC Bournemouth

It's an interesting one as this is surely one of the games they have targeted as a must-win if they want to survive. Therefore, they should come out all guns blazing with a pretty vociferous crowd behind them.

It does mean from their perspective the psychology of the game is a bit different. Instead of a "give it all you've got but if you lose then that's to be expected" attitude, their players will know they need something from the match and so nerves might creep in.

If we can put them under some pressure or sneak an early goal then they might start to panic a bit, whereupon they could make more mistakes. I don't expect their heads to drop as their spirit has been strong all season but there is a little more pressure on them for this game than there has been for others.

On the other side of things, if they get ahead their belief could really rocket.
Definitely this. Spoke to a few of the natives and they see this as a MUST win. Will be a great atmosphere to start but an early goal for us will add to the nerves. I don't think they would give up but they would feel desperate.

Worst ground visited that season. I’m sure @table and the Good Lady will verify.

Hope the Rocketeers have a good trip tomorrow. I’m missing you!
On this occasion Mr Trent, the Dibsters and the @table (s) will go there and secure the three points.

On one condition, if you're still in Elevenerife, you hit the bar large, the moment it opens. ;)

I am and I will!

Unlikely anywhere will be showing the game so will check back on here after the game has finished.

Oh and @Kenya Cherrie Must have been here. I saw graffiti saying ‘Tourists go home’.

Wouldn’t mind being a permanent resident here!

Agree with the Dibster, enjoy the day tomorrow Rob, find a bar, use your natural charm and get them to show the match. At sometime find a "Red Lion" pub, get a pie and chips with a traditional bottle of Estrella and start the sing-a-long (tell them pie and chips is Boscombe paella) : )

Rob did have "words" with the Sky crew last time we were there. We were pitch side in the corner, in front of their fans. The ramp down to our places was as steep as the ramps Eddie the Eagle would launch himself off. The finish on the concrete was very much a "job and finish" on a Friday just after you've been paid ( the pub was calling very loudly I'd say). Sky's technical stuff, cables, plugs and boxes were all in our way. Added to this their 3 man technical crew just stood there in front of us, plugging/unplugging things , scratching themselves. All the time oblivious to the people behind them. So Rob had some words with them : )

Having said all that I'm still looking forward to returning, they're a club very much like the club I fell in love with. Wish 'em well but we've got a 3 points space on the Riverside Rocket that needs filling. It's our mission to bring them safely back to Dean Court : )

Safe travels everyone, let's enjoy the day and sing the lads to victory
: )

I’m guessing Rob went further and landed better than Eddie the eagle ever managed

Mmmm ...It's MATH day...up at Kenilworth Rd....where the Cherries can get that 1 precious point to the relief of many manic fans who can then turn their thoughts to the seasons ahead when somewhere around or 27-28 or 28-29 the New Stadium will have either the Madrid's and Milan's turning up for battle in Europe...or Maidstone and Maidenhead challenging us for the National League title...the 'pots' await, their metal amalgam unknown!

It's all very intriguing and mind-blowing being a 21st Century Cherry !

We're on our way, we're on our jolly old way. Just one Riverside Rocket today, I think there were only six spaces offered at Kenilworth road. Brand new Rocket today, the Good Lady has already said "there's still that annoying grumbling noise in the back", she was looking straight at me : )

Plenty of room on here for the three Euro tour points, to be retrieved and deposited back in the Dean Court vault : )

That's Fleet attended to next stop the jewel in the Bedfordshire crown, Luton : )

3 Bluebird coaches in there plus at least 4 private hire minibuses full of Cherries. The lads in the regular/irregular Funbus were in fine voice, hope we hear a lot of "Semenyo's on fire". If we're all as happy as them on the way home, it'll be a good day : )
