Aston Villa v AFC Bournemouth - Sunday 3 pm

Yes but I was right. You don't win football matches with several players half fit and other key players absent. You just can't accept it can you.

I suppose you will also not accept the foregone conclusion that we will more than likely lose at Wolves also because of the same readon and with the additional problem of fatigue creeping in.

Then two days after the Wolves game we have to face Brighton where we will be completelh knackered.

Please try to live in the real world.

I don't care if he stops or not.....i don't know why you're getting so upset.
To be fair I predict that we will lose in every game. It doesn’t mean that I slag off or boo the players, I don’t. It just means I’m a pessimist.

As for today, sometimes it’s ok to say that ‘they were better than us’. They were, second half especially. It was no disgrace to lose today.

:utc:Always!

Has to be said, Villa are a very good side, pretty much superior in every position. Obviously Watkins is class but Bailey is frighteningly good and Martinez a class above Neto. So, disappointing to lose after taking the lead but no shame losing to the better team.
Absolute this. We gave them a good game but ultimately the stronger team won. They have some good players in that side. Watkins, Bailey, Martinez , Diaby even Rogers , who didn't look much when we had him on loan. We've comfortably stayed in this division and will strengthen in the summer to aid our cause next season and again will hopefully improve. The fact is we lost to the 4th best team in the country and there's shame in that

Neto being good last year not a universally accepted fact btw but you are obviously entitled to your opinion. He’s always punched when he should catch.

Interesting we had Morgan Roger’s in the building for a long look and still preferred to spend 45m on Traore and Dango rather than 8m on him. Thats recruitment at its most stupid. They could only dream about the intelligence and effectiveness he showed again today.
Bloody hell Neil. I have never been a big Neto fan, I just dont think he actually wins us many points, but Rogers was absolute dogshit when he was with us, that why City sold him for £1m last summer.

I don't recall anyone whatsoever clamouring to sign him.

So just to be clear. You believe that we will get something at Wolves with a tired and depleted side three days after getting turned over at Villa Park. I can only politely infer that you must be on the wacci bacci.
Answer his actual question you ************************. What do you get out of it? 12 years and counting, you have predicted losses. You are nowhere to be seen when we win. You're pointless.

First half was decent but, as with Luton away, we dipped second half. Is that the effect of being safe combined with opponents upping their game.

Thought a number of regular high performers were shown up today. Zabaryni couldn’t handle Ollie watkins at all and the latter’s all round game showed why he is ahead of dom for England. Good movement, more physicality and more assists too.

While McGinn powered through christie and cook

At the pre match press conference, the sky reporter seemed to pushing AI to say we could be a team like villa in the champions league. Their impressive ground and quality of team suggests AI was right to twice say Villa are in a different set above us
