if we were to lose all the games, it could quickly change to the 'Bourne of Frustration' Tour.If they don't promote it as the "Bourne In The USA" tour I shall be very disappointed...
Still here TJ ! Had 15k in town for the recent fanfest. I know some of the club went over the the Nashville Soccer Stadium whilst they were here for the event. Nice 30k seater - direct flights from Heathrow makes it somewhat easy getting here.Nashville - 12 hour drive from Toronto or 2 hour flight ........ Music City and #1 barbeque. Was there for a short stay on my way to New Orleans.
Is @musiccitycherry still on here?
Never mind all the teasers on Musk Social, if we are playing public matches, we need to know where and when.
The prices of tickets and accommodation will not be decreasing.

Then the not trivial issues, for most, I guess, of having to give notice to book holidays and get families on board.
You mean almost as much as it costs to park overnight at the Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas?Nashville hotel rates are eye watering at times, particularly close to the action.

Competitive English League matches on a foreign soil is anathema to me and, I suspect, to everyone else who has supported their club their whole lives through thick and thin from the very first time that they ever went there. The other thing that I should have commented on ........ and @USCherry hit it on the nail ... is that a lot of it is about the spectacle as opposed to it being "special". You guys are already seeing sports-tourists at games, and I have seen mention of people getting to games and spending more time in fancy facilities or on their mobile devices than actually watching the match.

If it ever happened in the States you guys could watch it, but you would not not be part of it like we are. The same applies to all the sports tourists we see taking selfies at the great Premier League venues.
It is our game, and we are not merely spectators, we are invested participants along with the players. That is something that cannot possibly be exported, and if someone manages to stage such games against all our wishes, it will deprive us of something very meaningful in our lives just to give you a bit of meaningless entertainment in yours.
If you want to be part of it, you have to come over here and experience it for real, not stay at home and watch a plastic substitute of the original.
Thats a bit inflammatory.
Of course the experience of competitive live PL football can not be replicated.
However, it's great for others to experience in the off season, no matter where that may be......
Poole, Pennsylvania or Phnom Penh, Perth or Pattaya.
Not everyone can afford to watch a live PL game if they live in different parts of the globe.
We should welcome all supporters, no matter where they live, and no matter their bank balance.
The games being suggested aren't competitive fixtures, merely exhibition matches.
