What do you seeing Dango that I haven't?

Andoni plays him because he is a part of an ever diminishing squad.

Injuries aside, I doubt he would play if Tavernier, Sinisterra Kluivert and Semenyo all stayed fit at once.

He got drafted in as a left back, due to his incompetence as an attacking player.

There is no other Pl team who would use Dango as a starter.

FACT

He's played him all season when he's been fit. This in a squad so unbalanced by the sheer number of wingers it has apparently.

FACT

He's strong on the ball, athletic, fast and has a really decent header on him. He lacks composure and awareness at times as we can all see. It's difficult to call bearing in mind his age, if we're up to strength a loan could do him but if that doesn't happen we know Andoni values him above any fee. Regarding the fee as a few have said, clearly something was happening between both clubs in that regard.

We all know the manager likes to rotate and keep the press on until the last minute so he clearly feels he does a job.

Luckily we have him tied down to a 2 year contract.

Would be really bonding for the players, the fans and the board (Bill and Frevola) to at least tie him down for 1 more year.

I fear for this squad if Andoni ups sticks.

He is larger than the current squads ability.
Agreed. It would be massive if we could add at least an additional year to his present contract. Football aside, his family will also have a huge influence on any decision. I would imagine it's been hard swapping the world renowned cuisine of San Sebastian for a Bournemouth El Murino pizza.

Strong on the ball?

Disagree.

Lacks composure?

Agree

Athletic?

Yes, but so was Wolf from Gladiators.

Fast?

Yes, usually during Ramadam

He's rubbish, let's be honest.

You cant deny that Waz is spot on here. We sit in the top 10 of the premier league and all you have done is slate the clubs hierarchy for years.

We have signed some duff players, name a club that doesn’t.
We were left a great legacy. Take Cook, Solanke and Smith out of this side and we are in massive trouble…. Travers should have been playing all season as well and Kelly is our most sought after defender.

We’ve added some good players. I’ve never said otherwise but look what we’ve spent. There is no way you can say, in my opinion, that the 85m on Dango, Faivre Adams and Traore is anything but a misuse of funds, I also think Sinisterra is injury prone and can’t give a full game, Aaron’s is injury prone and a trade down on Smith, Fredericks a joke, how we ended up with Neto, Radu and Randolph in the PL is beyond most of us… and then there are the others that have come and gone without their value being recouped.

He has appointed a brilliant manager for which I’m really grateful to him ( although it took him to the fifth go to find one to maximise Howes legacy) and that manager is making players look better than they would be under others. Look at Christie, Cook, Semenyo, Senessi, Solanke now compared to under GON for example

Yes mate, he's so crap he's made 41 appearances for us and Andoni keeps on picking him....he's actually that crap, incredible isn't it.(where's the irony emoji)

Those wingers are frequently injured or can’t last a whole game. Hence why we need so many. Do you think he gets near the team if they are all fit and who you dropping for him?

I really like him but there is definitely a danger he'll turn into another Jordon Ibe type player unless he starts to contribute more directly to goals. By that I mean Ibe before the meltdown as I see nothing like Ibe's pack of focus in Outtara.

He's an enigma really because in the final third he lacks composure but he's very hard working and disciplined defensively. For such an erratic player he doesn't make that many defensive errors. The only poor display he's had at LB was when he was exposed against Luton because there was no cover agead of him, which is on the manager rather than the player.

He’s doing ok
What's the benchmark here?

Gets on the pitch?

Likes his team mates?

Has two legs?

He is absolutely terrible.

When the 4th official puts the subs board up, there are currently 2 names you don't want to see on it.

BILLING

OUTTARA

You know they will weaken whats already out there.

Its a fact, and it's not fair on the players or Andoni to have such lackluster options.

Ah the greatest hits. This new one though...

"Kelly is our most sought after defender."

Oh my. :slap:

Yes he does... because he did get game time when they were fit. The manager will always change his wide players every game due to the playing style.

As opposed to

Doesn’t get on the bench

He’s no world beater but he’s not rubbish either.
