    The Uruguayan Arter

Does anyone else see similarities in Vina and Arter? He seems to have that same dog with a bone attitude. At one point he had forced a corner and was trudging into the box, head down wiping his face on his shirt…. It could have been Arter I tell you!

    Super Scotty Parker

‘Bournemouth’s going to the premiere league’ - redundant is there a consensus on the premiere league version? all seemed a bit vague versus Villa. ‘Bournemouth playing in the premier league’ perhaps ? :hmmm:

    Sponsored 24hr football event

There is a sponsored football attempt taking place on Saturday to help raise funds for support of Motor Neurone Disease. Paul, who grew up in Merley, has been diagnosed with the condition. If any one would like to help out in donating for this cause it would be very much appreciated...

    Tomorrow night in Dean Court

I know it’s difficult to get inspired if the football is uninspiring but let’s do our club, each other and the team a favour and support. Its what’s needed to get through the tough times and to get nearer the good Up the fookin chezzers !

If we kept the current squad intact

I was pondering come the end of the season where we might finish compared to last. Bearing in mind that, at present, we have only lost Bonkavic and Surridge and Rico from the first team can we expect an improvement on 6th place? Loosing a very good keeper without replacement is obviously...

    Fan engagement index

Didn’t even know this existed and not sure on the parameters of how they work these things out but get the feeling we are probably about right in the table. 73rd of 91. A shame for a club that entered the premier league with a reputation of being a family club with good ties to its fan base.

    Time to look forward

So a little competition which will hopefully lift some spirits and give us something positive to think on. Its a prediction double header as to first match you think we will have a full Dean court, (all seats for sale) and to double up and sort the wheat from the chaff, first away game we can...

Oh to have been in front of a full Dean Court.

Can you imagine the roar when Lewis’ screamer would have hit the net !!? I feel a bit sad for him that he didn’t get that feeling from the crowd. Hurry up with the vaccination programme :) it’s starting to feel too much of a distant memory :utc::utc::utc::utc::utc::utc:

    Has any one seen Eddie?

I would just like to know that he’s alright.

I’ll be seeing you at the White Horse

Well, you live and learn. If we keep Eddie I’m sure we can keep the evolution at the club going. Our stay in the premier league has shown us the reality of what it involves both on and off the pitch. The king is dead, long live the king

    Midfield tempo

We badly need players in there who are more than ‘safe’ We use to pride ourselves on our tempo, the manager asked us to be brave, take the game to them. It’s so crucial in there to set the scene for what happens all over the pitch, if it’s slow there it’s slow everywhere. For the vast...

    Card up the sleeve?

One player who I look at who could give us that bit extra is Lewis Cook. Seems a little out of sorts with Eddie for whatever reason and his performances have looked a little up and down but when he’s on it he definately has the ability to swing a game against the lower table clubs. Not in goal...

Sad to see the daggers come out

Everyone is entitled to their opinions. So here’s mine..... Some fans don’t show the qualities that they are asking for from the team. Strength, Resilience, will to win. Instead? regime change thinking that will sort it :surrender: Come on boys and girls it’s been a lot worse than this! let’s...

    Let’s get behind the man

He’s done absolute wonders for us as fans, up there with any manager for any team In the history of football in this country. He’s hurt bad right now, I for one will be right behind him on Saturday to remind him what he means to me as a Cherry. Eddie Howe , murther furking legend.

    Implementing tactics.

A fair amount of chat about tactics right/wrong of late with the general sentiment that this is down to the manager. Having just seen Captain Cooks comments, that they were told at half time to put in less crosses in the second half and infact the opposite happened, I was wondering how much...

    How good was L Cook?

I only managed a listen today driving up through France but sounded as though he really linked the play through the centre of the pitch. Brave enough to turn and jink with the vision to open the play......or at least this is what I was imagining ! . Can anyone confirm my hopes?

    RIP Anthony Greenall

I’m afraid another lifelong cherries fan has moved on to ‘The Main Stand’ As a dad he took me to Dean Court for the first time when I was too young to remember, as his dad had done with him. Very active with the supporters trust (where may be some of you will remember him?) ....lost some...

Consistency and how to achieve it.

Guardiola and Klopp struggled with it a little for a season or two but look at them now. So what gets consistency in performance levels? Is it purely based on mentality? Is it a team thing or do you need players with the right psychology to begin with? Can it be taught? Do you look to the...
