Just to remind us all how entertaining football can be.

If the current PL VAR rules were applied it would have taken 15 minutes to review all goals and they would have all been ruled out due to a handball 5 mins earlier and a penalty awarded to Wrexham.

I was there and saw it.

Unfortunately his parents missed it as they left early to catch the ferry back to the IOW.

James Hayter was still on the bench and came on just after they left with five minutes or so of the game to go.

One of those moments that even when I watch it back sends a tingle down the spine. Love the fact as well that it only happenned because he was an unassuming bloke who didn’t run the length of the stand with his arms outstretched.... he just thanked the person that passed him the ball and got back on with the game.

It also gave rise to that greet quote from theWrexham manager that ‘it’s a six hour coach trip home so that will give them one hour to think about each goal they conceded’ we’ve all been there!!
