AFC Bournemouth v Boreham Wood - FA Cup Fourth Round

Awful, embarrassing performance, Parkerball at its worse!

In American Football when a former defensive coordinator that becomes a head coach, he typically plays a very conservative style, ball control, game.

I’m beginning to think a defensive player in football that becomes a head coach/Manager does the same.
Eddie was a defender. Parker was a midfielder.

Parkers body language says it all, he just stands there with his hands in his pocket. I would prefer the get at them attitude.

Admittedly I know very little regarding formations and tactics. With that being said, are there certain formations that lend themselves to more attacking play?

£100m+ squad, highly rated (by some) young manager being totally outplayed and out-thought on their own pitch by a non league side.
Detatch yourselves and it's actually hilarious.

Manager will put it right HT and flood gates will open second half, 4-1.
