Looking purely at the match stats it would appear to be a close game. However the stats show that 5 of our 8 shots on target were scores. None of theirs counted. Good result in a game that could have been tricky given HT's recent results. Well done the lads.

My biggest point of pride today is by the end we had 4 academy graduates on the field by the end. Dead chuffed with that and Shaun Cooper, Alan Connell and the rest of their respective staff should quite rightly be delighted with what they've brought to this squad.

Those stats are weird. If you had just looked at them, didn't know the score, and were asked to guess what it was, you would never have come up with 5-0 to either team. It shows just how misleading they can be.

It only took up to page 16 before someone said they disliked us because we'd "bought success"! Whereas those bloody cheapskates like Liverpool and Man City...
