AFC Bournemouth v Spurs

This is factually incorrect - there is no such bird as a seagull - they are Gulls, be they common, herring, lesser or even glaucous - and they are not seabirds, in the sense that albatrosses are. They do not go out to sea, but are coastal birds - or even "landfill site" birds.

Does that mean Brighton and Hove Albion, as well as their fans, don't exist ?
Somebody had better tell NSC they're fictional : )

I suggest you take this up with Mr. Cantona.

Last Home Game

After the draw against Saints in a game that had three goals for both sides, our next game is the last of this season at home. The visitors are Tottenham Hotspur (Spurs).

This has been a season of two halves for our team, the first half of the season AFCB started off really well and after 19 games had secured 26 points and were in 11th place in the table. The second half hasn’t been so good, after 36 games AFCB have 42 points and sit in 14th place in the table. So after 17 games AFCB have taken 16 points.

Since the Cherries 5-0 defeat at Wembley in December, Spurs lost their next home game 1-3 to Wolves, it was the last game of the year.

On New Year’s Day, Spurs visited Wales to play Cardiff City. It turned out to be a winning start to the new year for the London club with a 0-3 result. The next game was back at Wembley where the lost 0-1 against Manchester United. This was followed with the short trip to Craven Cottage to play Fulham, Spurs took all 3 points in a 1-2 victory. The last game of January was back at Wembley where Spurs beat Watford 2-1.

February started with two home wins for Spurs at Wembley, first 1-0 against Newcastle United and then 3-1 against Leicester City. This was followed with two away games and two defeats, 2-1 at Burnley and back in London 2-0 at Stamford Bridge playing Chelsea.

March started with a game at Wembley against London rivals Arsenal, it finished honours even in a 1-1 draw. The next two games were away and both ended in defeats, first a trip to Southampton finishing 2-1 and then a trip up to Merseyside and Anfield where Liverpool took the points in another 2-1 result.

April was to be a special time for Tottenham and their fans, as they moved into their brand new stadium with the official opening in the game against another London club, Crystal Palace. It was to be a winning 2-0 start for Spurs and the first goal scorer was to be Son Heung-Min. The next game was also a win, this time by 4-0 in their new stadium and against Huddersfield Town. The next game was away against Manchester City, with the home side winning 1-0. Back at home again and Spurs recorded a hat-trick of wins in their new stadium in the Premier League this time a 1-0 win over Brighton. The last game of April and West Ham were the visitors and the first team in the Premier League to beat Spurs at their new ground by the only goal of the game.

Spurs didn’t sign any players during the January transfer window. Spurs are at present sitting in 3rd place in the Premier League table, this is the position they finished in last season.

In our last home Premier League game at Dean Court against Spurs last season, AFCB lost 1-4. In all home games in the PL, AFCB have W 0, D 1, L 2. In all competitions AFCB have W 1, D 1, L 6.
