Surprised with Neto , that said when we signed him there was no way he was coming go sit on the bench .!

May be harsh, but Travers has experienced starting a season in goal only to lose it to a more experienced keeper rather quickly and he came back stronger.

Very, very harsh on Travers. IMHO I think that’s the wrong selection.

All the rest looks as I expected.

Maybe he isn’t 100% for the game, the coaches know more than us.

Yeah IMO Travers is absolutely our No1 keeper but maybe he needs a break. Been a bit busy last few games!

My guess is that Travers has a bit of a back ache from all of that bending over to pick the ball out of the back of the net at the weekend.

More about letting Neto know he isn't here to only sit on the bench (if he can't get in after 9-0, what else would he conclude?), allied with a handy opportunity to give the new manager a look at both his keepers in a real match. League Cup matches don't count.

Don't necessary agree with dropping Travers but I do kind of understand it....a young keepers confidence can erode quickly...... might be for his own good.......other than that happy enough.
