We are now able to provide a progress report on Agent Rothwell.
The gaining trust phase of his placement was recently completed. However, at no stage did “sumptuous volley” or “vital goals” feature in his briefing.
We do now note that Agent Rothwell is setting about the most important part of his mission with some relish although he has been warned that gifting Hull three points quite so conspicuously risks blowing his cover completely. His “attempts” to retrieve the situation he worked so hard to create were more akin to a testimonial match that finishes 6-5 and he has been advised to appear a little more competitive (ie get within a postcode of his man) in such situations.
Agent Brooks remains under surveillance.
