Andoni Iraola

With all the talk about recruitment, I'm a little surprised we haven't seen at least one arrival from Rayo Vallecano. Managers often like to have a voice in the dressing room that has worked with them before.

Looking at their team on wiki though, they're almost all 28+ so perhaps not the right age profile for what we're looking to do right now.

Had a look on football manager earlier actually- started a new save and of course signed the wonder kid Scott right away (12 mill....have to get him right away otherwise itts 20 by jan ;))

As you said, their best higher value players are late 20s. Couple of their wingers look interesting. Fast as lightning.

Kluivert also looks superb on there ;)

Asked if he is hopeful of making new additions ahead of his side’s opening Premier League game on Saturday, Iraola added: “The club is going to try to sign new players this week, because we have some areas that obviously still lack some players probably, with injuries in the middle and full-back positions.

“But we also want to make the right decisions, not because we need to sign as soon as we can, we are going to sign a player we don’t want.

“We have to balance everything and take the best decisions.”

That’s obviously a lie

Can’t be true because the board haven’t kept Waz and Dawson in the loop and told them first
 
Wonder if we would consider Tom Davies whose contract has expired at Everton. He was a good prospect but seems to have lost his way but there’s def a good box to box midfielder in there and maybe the south coast could revive him

Dewsbury Hall looked great for Leicester yesterday. Also, as he sounds like a National trust building he will be great for our much talked about elder section of fan base. :grinning:
