Any Fulham tickets?

I've got a couple of sticks of rhubarb if your interested. they might be a bit stringy. but ok for a apple, raisin and rhubarb crumble.

I wouldn't touch rhubarb after August, you need the beginning of the season – although arguably you could still throw it with the celery.
 
You obviously don't know how to store fruit and veg. we freeze fruit and store potatoes and apples.
As do I, but the general rule of thumb is not pick rhubarb after August to allow the plant to restore energy and, as you point out, it does get a bit stringy later in the season, sheesh.
