Ballot workings

May be best not to wonder, but how do the ticket ballots actually work. Is there a giant sack containing a ball with each of the applicants' supporter numbers on and Liz Finney takes them out one by one and someone else reads out the names up to the limit of tickets and writes them down on a piece of lined A4. Not sure how that would work with 1s, 2s and 4s but possibly there is a state of the art random number lottery generator or something.

I think everyone who went to bottom of the table Wycombe on a cold Tuesday night is guaranteed a ticket, and everyone else goes into a big sack with the initials JCL on it.

I think they are using technology like ERNIE for the premium bonds...Liz came up with herself as she couldn't face grabbing hold of balls in a large sac..
